There are many ways you can donate to LIA and we greatly appreciate all donations.

LIA relies on our ability to access ongoing funding and donations. The client groups that we work with are some of the most disadvantaged families in Auckland and do not have the means to pay for the services that they receive. Often these are also the families that are doing ‘well enough’ not to come to the attention of government agencies such as Child Youth and Family, ACC and Special Education Services and therefore will not be able to access any other funded form of professional help and support for their family. 

Some of the programs that we offer receive either partial or total government funding. However, cost to maintain the efficiency of our services such qualified counsellors and social workers for Parenting Program and Counseling services, logistic cost and the outfit and maintenance of our emergency houses rely on donations, grants and fee-for-service payments to make them financially sustainable. Many of the families that require this specialised help are trying to break the cycles of family violence, poverty and neglect and are seeking a different type of life for their family and children
