Living without violence

We believe changing social norms, attitudes, and behaviours is essential to enhance one’s quality of life. We provide integrated services to families that restore safety and well-being where family violence has or is at risk of occurring, creating long-term change. Our team will work with you to help individuals and families access additional services needed and draw on broader family/community to achieve longer-term change.

Family Violence Programmes (group or individual basis)

Victim of Family Violence Programme
In 2008, LIA became the first NGO with a Pacific Island services emphasis, mandated by the Ministry of Justice to provide a stop violence programme for ‘victims’ of family violence.

The programme runs a ten-session, two-hour family violence programme delivered by a specialised facilitator to a group and/or individual. Focussing Pacific women who are victims of family violence.

Stopping violence programme
